Mental Variables and how we keep ticking

the mind works on two basic things as we might have any computer software programmed - input and output

input is every form of information on which we might base our personal and social understanding of the world as we look at it. it helps us construct a virtual world in our minds about how things are supposed to be. it shapes our reality...

the output we provide is based on our programming and our reluctance or acceptance of the given situation and its effect on our ability to reason.

entire human history is filled with incidences where the decision of one man has proved to be either a boon or a low level curse. the inputs given to the booners and sinners in this case was the same, but what affected the history books was their output.

two different people may react to the same thing in two different ways. the tiniest example? right in your house. you like red and your brother doesn't. you both get red bikes. you're damn happy and thanking every one right from your nursery nanny to almighty God. your brother doesn't even touch the bike. he hates it. he 'expected' a blue one

see the difference?

this is how our output decides our input. and the input, output.

commenting from a psychologist's point of view, 'we all are slaves to our mental perceptions and environmental conditioning'

from a philosopher's view, 'we become who we think we become'

from The Joker in Batman.... "WHY so SeRiOuS??"

Getting Started on mind training

first get some books telling how to control your mind

Reference:
Think like da Vinci (reference presentation)

===================

many more good books can be found online or even brought from a local book store

what they basically tell us is how to control the input and oput put of our mind... (keeping it really short)

mind v/s matter

we have thousands of books telling us about what is the mind and how to deal with its complexities. but i guess nobody voiced their own opinions about it

my favourite philosopher about the mind and body is Osho

sorry for the direct reference to his public name for all the Bhagwaan Rajneesh fans. but this is the way it was always supposed to be according to him too... direct, simple and from the heart

mind is something the world's psychologists refer to as a combination of brain + personality. i say thats rubbish. no one can completely define what the  mind is. the only two things we can do about it is - wonder and improve. we can keep wondering about the complexities of the mind or we can come forward and explore its infinite capabilities.

most of us today, programmed to self destruct our talents and live robotic lives of misery, usually dont go through the pains of understanding the core value of existance - consciousness. but still we live and breath and party... and thats all there is to live by, isnt it? then why all the mind stuff?

well first, mind is superior to matter. matter is vibrational. mind is spiritual. matter and brain and neurons may degenerate due to age but mind never does. instead the only permanent part of a person throughout the life is 'mind'

and please take note of me reffering to 'the life' instead of the regular 'his/her life' this is not due to fear of sexism or disrespect of either sexes. it is for respect of the almighty invisible God we all worship. if he is one and he is the father and everything, then he also resides in all of us and every living thing. so all the Life in the world can be classified as THE LIFE instead of being his or her.

well to be true, i really dont believe in God in our regular context, but i do believe in an omnipotent being who looks over all of us. who keeps us all united. who made the mind....

in short, Mind ROCKS!!!!!
